Cafe Cars came all the way from the East Coast. Built for the Pennsylvania Railroad by Budd in 1952 as 29-seat parlor cars with 5-seat drawing rooms. Originally named Henry Knox and Johns Hopkins, they were primarily used on the Penn RR’s Congressional and Senator trains serving the Boston-Washington DC corridor.
